Richard Brooks

Richard Brooks studied theology at Cambridge and trained for the Christian ministry in Bristol. His pastorates included York Evangelical Church and The Dales Evangelical Church, Matlock. Married to Jennifer, they have four married sons and many grandchildren. Now retired, they live in Bromsgrove, where they are members of Welcome Hall Evangelical Church, Catshill.

Good Grasp of the Details

While this commentary on Revelation is brief by some standards, nevertheless, if you desire to have an uncomplicated commentary which handles the visions of John in a clear and succinct way, then buy this book. It is especially useful for someone who is not accustomed to reading commentaries, or someone who desire to have an overview of the Book of Revelation. This is my third copy, as previous copies have an tendency to be permanently borrowed! Highly readable and recommended.
