10ofThose was started by Jonathan Carswell with the idea of getting the best Christian books and resources out to as many people as possible. Beginning as a hobby, 10ofThose has now grown to be a company that distributes millions of resources a year. We give God the glory!
In the early days the work had no name as it was just a hobby, but people had to buy books in the 10’s. Therefore, when the company was founded in 2007, the name "10ofThose" was given – taken from people calling and asking for “10 of those, 10 of those, and 10 of those”. The name stuck!
Now however you don’t have to buy 10. You can buy any number you like, from one to 10 to 10,000+. However, often at 10ofThose, the more you buy the cheaper it gets. We offer price breaks for varying quantities on most titles; these price breaks are displayed on each product's web page.

Thank you for asking! While much of what we do and how we operate feels like a not-for-profit, we are a C-corp to help us get more Christian resources into more hands. Being a C-corporation, we do not ask for or invite donations to our ministry. However, you can help us in several ways:

It’s always best to give as much time as possible, but we are happy to assist if you're late to getting things sorted. Please contact us if you have any deadlines for arrival so we can assist you with your order. Depending on what you’re ordering we can rush your order, shipping it either from our main warehouse or a secondary warehouse. If, for whatever reason, the title you want isn’t available in time, our team knows our products very well and can suggest something else to meet your needs.
A pop-up bookstore has our 10ofThose team coming to you, bringing the best Christian books to your community for them to look through. This is a great way to reach the whole church and impact even fringe members. As part of your service we'll make some recommendations for books and enthuse about reading (you’ll see an example in the video below). This is done sensitively and not commercially; rather, we are enthusing about the power of books that point to Jesus. We supply many churches each year and it usually becomes an annual event that churches call ‘Book Sunday.'
Our presence doesn’t harm the week-to-week ministry of a book room you may already have. We go to many churches that already have something happening. They actually find that our work boosts what they do in the following weeks.

If you can provide our employees with accomodation, it is helpful to keep our costs down, but it is not a requirement.
We typically need a minimum attendance of 300 people, though some exceptions are possible. For example, if your event is only 200 people, but we can stay for the Sunday services where the attendance is 600 people, we can attend your event.
For an event of 300 people we’d typically request 10-12 tables to serve the attendees well.
We get booked up fast! Please plan 8-12 months out. If your event is sooner, please contact info.us@10ofthose.com, and we’ll do what we can to serve you well.

As part of our selection process of titles we don’t stock/distribute self-published or POD titles. If a mainstream publisher publishes your book and you’d like us to consider stocking it, please ask the publisher to send us a review copy.
If you are speaking at an event at which we are providing the bookstore, or your ministry is exhibiting at such a conference, and you’d like the book to be available in the store, please contact our team at info.us@10ofthose.com with details and we’ll be glad to help facilitate this.
Please email us the transaction date and the last four digits of the card used to purchase and we can send you an invoice. If you have the name/location of the event and the total purchase amount, this can also help.
Yes! If your church/organization is qualified for sales tax exemption in your state, we can set your account up as tax-exempt. The setup is typically a one-time process (unless your certificate expires), and then future orders you place online will not be charged tax.
To do so, register for or log into your account here. From your account dashboard, click “Upgrade” then “Premium Church Account." Fill out all the required information and upload your state sales tax exemption certificate.
We will manually process your exemption on our end, usually within two business days, and confirm with you via email once this is done. Please note that this tax exemption will only be automatically applied to the email account to which it is submitted. If your church/organization has multiple staff members who will be ordering from us, we recommend creating a shared organizational account with us (using the same log-in), or reaching out to request that the tax exemption be applied to multiple accounts.
If you cannot wait for the tax exemption to be processed and need to place an order immediately, you can submit your order with sales tax. Then, we can retroactively refund the tax ($2 minimum) once your paperwork has been processed. Note: the paperwork must be submitted within the timeline of ordering required by your state in order to receive a refund retroactively.
If you’re reselling, then you can set up a trade account. To do so, register for or log into your 10ofthose account. From your account dashboard, click “Upgrade” then “Trade Account." Fill out all the required information and upload your resale certificate. We will then manually process your paperwork on our end, usually within two business days, and confirm with you via email once this is done.
We offer two options for placing trade orders. Once your trade account is set up on our website, you can place orders online, and your eligible trade discounts will be automatically applied to your order. Alternatively, you can email or phone in your order, which we will process and invoice you for (depending upon our prior agreement).
We offer trade discounts on all of our 10Publishing, Evangelical Press, and Reformation Lightning titles, along with titles from our distribution partners Union, The Gospel Coalition, Lithos Kids, and Myrtlefield. The more you buy, the greater your discount will be. You can view our standard trade terms and discount tiers here. As a trade customer, you still have the option to purchase other titles from us, but these special discounts only apply to materials by the publishers listed above.
At 10ofThose, we handpick the best Christian books and resources from across the publishers, road testing them to ensure that what we sell holds to the Bible and points to Jesus Christ. This doesn’t mean these are the only good books on the market – we also decide what we stock based on accessibility, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
We want 10ofThose to be a partner in your ministry that you can trust, and we seek to do this in our stock range, the prices we offer, and the service we provide.
Our main focus is English language titles, as we partner with other ministries that can better supply other languages. We appreciate the desire to give away books. This is something we want to encourage, giving to those people who aren't already buying or perhaps to someone who isn't yet a Christian. However, we find that books are often given to people who can afford them or already have lots of books, and this doesn't seem a wise use of resources, unfortunately.
If the recipients of your books can't afford them, or you are looking to give away books evangelistically and you can't afford to buy them, then we would love to help you work through ways to make it possible for books to be available. If you want to apply for free books please email us explaining what books you're looking for, how they will be used, and why your circumstances mean you cannot purchase them. We'll do our best to serve and help you.
To change your saved card details first you need to login to the site. Once logged in, you should be directed to your account page. If not, you can access this from the top right corner of the page. From here, you have several options on your account. One of these is to add/remove card details.
10Publishing is pleased to be able to offer a free copy of the eBook whenever you buy the physical copy of one of our titles. This offer applies only to titles where the eBook version is available. This offer will also be available on several titles from other publishers.
All you need to do is add the book you want to your basket, and if the free eBook is available for that title, it will automatically be added to your order for free. Once you have completed your purchase, a link to your free eBook will be provided on the screen and also sent to you via email.

Every product on our website has been handpicked, so we know it holds to the Bible's teaching. We try to ensure we have a comprehensive selection of books on our site and keep it as up-to-date as possible. Sometimes, however, there are books we sell that aren’t available on the website yet. If this is the case please contact us via email at info.us@10ofthose.com, and we'll see what we can do.
All purchases made on our website are considered a 'firm sale' and unavailable for return. If your goods have arrived faulty, please email us to request a return or replacement. You must email your return requests/queries before sending anything back.
Any faulty items must be reported to us within five days of delivery. We will refund/exchange the full cost within 21 days, excluding postage & packaging. Credit card refunds can only be returned to the card used for the original purchase. Please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement (though this is usually done much quicker).
When it comes to eBooks and other digital content, we are unable to accept returns. If there is a problem with your eBook file, please contact us, and we will resolve this for you.
We supply files in the standard eBook ePub format. You should have been provided with a link straight after your ebook purchase to download your ebook. However if you did not download them, you can go back to Your Account page to view your recent orders and download your ebook.
Once you’ve downloaded your file, you must transfer it to your eReader device. Below are instructions for transferring files to two of the most popular eReaders.
If your device can browse the web, you can download the purchase from our website straight onto your device and into the e–reader application.

Connecting your Kindle device to your computer:
Plug the larger end of a USB cable into an available USB port or a powered USB hub connected to your computer.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to the micro–USB port on the bottom of your Kindle device.
When connected to your computer, your Kindle device will go into USB drive mode and the computer will recharge its battery. Your wireless service is temporarily shut off and you will not receive any of your subscriptions while in this mode. Also, your Kindle device is not usable as a reading device while you are in USB drive mode, but will return to where you were when you eject the Kindle device from your computer.
Transferring Kindle content
Once connected to a computer using a USB cable, your Kindle device will appear in the same location as external USB drives usually appear. For Windows users, this is typically in the “Computer” or “My Computer” menu. For Mac users, the drive should appear on the desktop.
Open the Kindle drive. You will see several folders inside, one of which will be named “documents.” This is the folder you will move the downloaded file into.
Locate the downloaded file and copy it into the documents folder. You can generally copy files by clicking and dragging the file to the folder.
Safely eject your Kindle device from your computer and unplug the USB cable. Your content will appear on the Home screen.

If a pre-order item is alone on your order, then we’ll send it out as soon as it is released.
If there is a wait for your pre-order item and is ordered along with other available items, we'll often split it and go ahead and send what is available at the time of your order. Your pre-order item will follow as soon as it is released. There is no charge to you for the extra shipping in this case.
