Jeremy Kimble’s How Can I Get More Out of My Bible Reading? is a brief but genuinely helpful guide to reading Scripture more thoughtfully and faithfully. I gave it 5 stars and honestly wish I owned it in paper form, as there were so many helpful insights and questions I’d love to return to later. In a short read, Kimble offers practical ways to better understand the Bible while consistently emphasising the importance of reading Scripture within the life of the local church alongside older and younger, struggling and thriving believers. I especially appreciated his focus on reading with the whole story of Scripture in view and his encouragement to keep asking questions as we read. Clear, pastoral, and immediately applicable, this is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to get more out of their Bible reading.
