A Helpful Call to Church Commitment

Mark Dever does a solid job explaining why Christians are meant to live out their faith within a local church community rather than in isolation. The book is short, clear, and encouraging, especially in showing how belonging to Christ also means belonging to His people. While I appreciated the overall message, some sections felt more tied to churches that practice formal membership structures. In many churches, membership either looks very different or is not emphasised at all, so parts of the application may not fit every context equally well. Even so, the book provides a strong biblical foundation for valuing fellowship, accountability, and commitment within the church. Definitely worth reading.
