Don't buy 'Taking God at His Word', buy this instead!

I've been looking for a popular level book, that I could give to someone at church or in a youth group about the Bible. I'd heard loads of good things about Kevin DeYoung's "Taking God at His Word" and it has a lot of quality endorsements. But when I read it I was sorely disappointed. It's boring. It says good and true things about the Bible, but it seems to essentially be some re-written sermons. "Can I Trust the Bible" is the book I wish "Taking God at His Word" was. It's short. It's immediately engaging. It's fun. And in 72 pages it covers all sorts of ground from: "What does Jesus say about the Old Testament?" to circular reasoning & the Bible to how the Bible compares to the Quran to how we're to experience the Bible. This will be my go-to book for helping people to understand the Bible. Top stuff.
