Events and Sales Coordinator

Location: Preferably Chicagoland, IL or La Grange, KY, or for experienced applicants, other locations in the US will be considered.

Type: Full-time (with evenings & weekends). Many hours are flexible

About the Role

This is a unique position that combines two areas of focus: event bookstore coordination and active sales. You’ll travel to conferences and churches across North America to set up and run book tables—but when you're not on the road, you’ll also be working behind the scenes to help churches, ministries, and individuals connect with the right resources.

We’re looking for someone who’s organized, relational, and motivated to see people reading books that point to Jesus—both face to face and from behind a desk.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to events across the U.S. to set up and run pop-up bookstores

  • Speak on stage or in group settings to recommend books and encourage reading

  • Serve customers both in person (at events) and remotely (via email, phone, and video calls)

  • Support day-to-day sales efforts from our offices, contributing to projects, book selection, and customer follow-up

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, ministry-driven team

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who’s comfortable meeting new people and naturally relational

  • Confident in public speaking—from small gatherings to larger crowds

  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and stay calm in a busy event setting

  • Comfortable working independently on the road and collaboratively with a team

  • Able to stay on top of details when it counts—especially around events and orders

  • Able to take initiative in sales conversations and customer follow-up

  • General comfort with computers and willingness to learn new tools

  • A love for the local church and a deep appreciation for solid Christian books

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. full time and must hold a valid driver’s license
