Excellent Devotional

If you are needing a good reminder of what Christmas is truly about, then look no further than this devotional. Tripp does an excellent job of helping his readers reflect and meditate on the beauty and joy, the sorrow and suffering, the weight and the glory of Jesus’ arrival. It was good for my heart to let these truths sink in to my heart morning by morning throughout this Christmas season. Thanks for this great book PDT!

Exactly What We Needed for the Holiday Season- Thought Provoking!

My husband and I were looking for a guided devotional themed around the Christmas season. This one was recommended to us. We've already enjoyed some of the author's previous work so it was an easy decision to give Come, Let Us Adore Him a go. We didn't get much beyond the introduction when we realized that, indeed, this was exactly what we wanted. Tripp's easy-read, yet profound, light and quick devotional points and follow up Scripture reading was perfect for the hurried pacing of this time of the year, but also hit true and hard to keep our minds and wills on celebrating with purpose and intent. The daily devotional portions offer an optional paragraph to guide the discussion with children so that this is a family focused devotional that is versatile so that individuals or couples can also participate. Definitely recommend it for those looking for something that goes beyond the emotions and urges a radical change in thinking and action toward the Christmas season and beyond.

I loved this book and am buying it for a friend. Completely sound theology and very inspirational.

A little disappointing

I was concerned with this book, that it was based on tweets by the author rather than on scripture, that it contained his reflections on that tweet rather than a reflection on Gods enduring and life giving word. Whilst some were interesting they were not all theologically sound. I would not encourage others to read this book. Sorry, that this is not positive, but the lack of scripture is concerning.
